Keyboard and Piano Recommendations

Based on my experience…

GOOD:

Yamaha NP-12 Piaggero – only 61 keys (rather than 88) but excellent for beginners! This keyboard has weighted keys and feels just like a real piano! Excellent sound quality. Can’t go wrong with a Yamaha!

BETTER:

Casio Privia PX 160BK – Full-size digital piano, weighted keys. Great sound quality!

Yamaha P-45 – Full-size digital piano. Weighted keys, excellent sound quality. Great deal at Guitar Center with bench, stand, pedal AND piano.

BEST:

Casio Privia PX-S3000

Real Piano – can often be found for free online. People give them away right and left! If you have space, this is the best option. Be prepared to tune it though!
